In April 2000, acquired a 91-acre business-zoned tract of land at Crismon Road and US 60 in east Mesa, Arizona. Home Depot was in the process of acquiring an abutting 14-acre site on the immediate corner to the interchange, and the store is in operation. VJ directed the following activities which aided the marketability and enhanced value to date: platting and subdividing the 91 acres; completing Phase I construction of off-site improvements – utilities; additional Phase I obligations of roadwork – the existing Hampton Avenue.
VJ coordinated the simultaneous closings on
1) the purchase of a 13-acre parcel directly at the southeast corner of Southern Avenue and Crismon Road , a portion of which was included in 2) the 47-acre sale to IASIS Healthcare, for Mountain Vista Medical Center , a 5-story, 300-bed hospital and medical campus, which broke ground in September, 2005.
